LIFEs Knowledge Faire 2011

Learning is for Everyone's Knowledge Faire 2011 is a real-time, hands-on, minds-on-fire Celebration of Learning designed to inspire new ways of thinking about how we learn, and innovative ways of sharing what we know. Not your usual workshop and break out session event, Knowledge Faire 2011 will keep you on your feet, and on your toes. In an intergenerational educational journey, you’ll move among different areas of learning - Science and Technology, the Arts, the Outdoors, Edutainment, History, Global Studies, Media Studies and more – to discover how knowledge fits together as a whole to create more enduring learning experiences for all ages.
Requested donation: $5 per person, or $20 per family, maximum 6 people at Family rate, please. Include number in party in "Instructions to Merchant" section if purchasing Family ticket. Thank you!

Learning is for Everyone is a not-for-profit education resource organization empowering families and individuals with information and networking resources at all levels of learning, at all stages of life, on the web and off. Our goal is to support the Curiosity Driven Life – to help inspire the lifelong love of learning that we all need to live intentionally, meaningfully and successfully in the 21st century.
- Great self-directed youth in action, with the award winning Jenkins Family Dancers,
- Hear professional baritone Joseph Ryan share his love of music,and
- Learn how young people can turn their great ideas into great business opportunities with David Harris of the Future Founders Lab!
In between our live presentations, we'll be screening some inspiring TED Talks. Upstairs, digital artist Antonia Wilson, of Creative Wonders Digital Art, will run two separate sessions on incorporating digital art into your learning experience. Upstairs and downstairs, enjoy interactive exhibits and hands on fun for all ages, including robots you can drive and enjoy learning about, Busch Gardens and GWIZ Science Museum activities and info, and more. Outside, check out camping, fossil hunting, Florida history, wildlife education and an Electrathon race car! There's lots to see, lots to do, and plenty to take home, from new knowledge to cool door prizes and raffle items including:
